Michael grew up with the company since its purchase. He has worked in most key areas of the business, beginning at age 12 by producing blinds part-time and continuing through high school. After earning a degree in electrical engineering at Georgia Tech, Michael moved to northeast Pennsylvania to work for Procter & Gamble. Following a couple of cold winters, Michael returned to Central Florida to learn the family business. Since his father, Larry, passed away in 2004, Michael has been leading the company and working to sustain the growth of the business, which has doubled in volume since he joined full time.
